So my crossing partner and I handed out valentine suckers
for the kids we cross and any other kid/adult that wanted one this morning. It
was so much fun to see the smile light up their faces!!! Hopefully now we will
have better response from these kiddos. Oh and my voice is slowly coming

Today was Mckenzie's 100th day in kindergarten. They had a
big celebration for it. They wanted the kids to dress up of how they thought
they would look when they were 100 years old. McKenzie didn't want to be old,
crippled, or saggie. She wanted to be young, Red hair, makeup, especially RED
Lipstick, wear a cute dress, and sunday shoes, and Jewelry. See below for more

Just enrolled Madisynn in Preschool. She is super excited,
she has been talking all day about going to preschool! I'm so thankful to have
people that have that gift for teaching children, because it is a hard thing to

I'm just a little ticked off. Somebody stole matt's lunch
AGAIN at work. Who steals someones lunch???? It makes me mad. I spent my time
putting the lunch together, in our tupperware making sure matt had something

house!!! She just got done vacuuming the house, and now my house is clean

I am so sick of inconsiderate junior high kids. They think
they own the road. So on my way to work a couple of hrs. ago I'm driving
through our neighborhood and their are about 4-6 junior high kids walking in
the middle of the road. They form a line so I can't pass them. See below for

Just got back from Madisynn's eye appointment. Good
news!!!! Her vision is about equal in each eye, which means we get to spread
her appointments out. So instead of her being seen every 6-8 weeks, it will be
every 3-4 months! Horray!!!!!

Oh Hallelujah!!! My house is back to Normal!!! In the nick
of time too. We have family coming today to stay for the week. =) My kids have
their playroom back. I have my exercise room back, and it will be so nice not
having to worry about kicking the walls and putting holes in them either!!!
It's very hard to workout in a small small space. =)

We took Kenzies training wheels off of her bike, and she
pretty much taught herself how to ride!!! She rode her bike the whole time I
was running, totally awesome!!! I can't believe how fast she is growing up.

Today McKenzie had her first setup play date with a little
girl from her kindergarten class! She had a lot of fun! I wish that their were
more kids in our neighborhood that were kenzie's and maddie's age or close to
it. It's really frustrating! I'm thankful for the small handful of kids that
are their age, I just wish they lived on the same street at least.

Madisynn just informed me that if we pee in the pool we
will turn yellow! LOL I asked her if she peed in the pool? She said no! I asked
her if she wanted to turn yellow? She said NO! So I said then don't pee in the
pool! What a silly girl!!! They are both doing so well with their swimming
lessons! Night and day difference only after 3 lessons. 5 more lessons to go!
Fun day at the Gateway discovery children's museum, and
fountains afterwards!!! The kiddos had a blast!!! =)

my Grandpa Kotter passed away early this morning. =( I hate death, but it's
necessary. I know he was in a lot of pain and this is a good thing, but it

Just found out that my Grandma Z died this morning. It's a
good thing, she has been suffering for years, and i'm glad she doesn't have to
suffer anymore. A couple of weeks ago we learned that she was really going
downhill. She didn't want the grandkids to see her like she was, and she wasn't

What a long exhausting couple of days. Matt's grandma
passed away early this afternoon. So hard to see someone suffer so, it just
breaks your heart. We love you Grandma Lemon, and we will miss you so! I love

another note I spent the last 15 min of my crossing watching a 10 yr old boy
try to hang up christmas lights while his grandparents were gone. I think he

I'm so glad I listened to that prompting to wear my snow
pants, and boots today to my crossing. because I tell you what their is nothing
like crossing a bunch of kids through freezing cold calf deep water. What a
mess!!! Apparently people have been complaining for about 3 yrs. and still
nothing has been done about this. Does someone need to get seriously injured
for something to be done? Probably, it makes me mad.

my crossing disappeared for afternoon crossing. After this morning I thought I
would have to bring my canoe and paddle them across!

Nothing like being up until 4:30 this morning wrapping

insurance back in October that Matt finally scheduled a dental appt. for us in
January. It's only been 3 1/2 years since we have been to the dentist. I'm
scared! This will be the first time our girls will be seen by a dentist. I sure
hope they do okay. I'm dreading January already!
