Our Home!!!

Well our rental contract is just about through. I can't believe how time flies. Back in October we signed a 6 month rental contract for the house we are in now. They agreed to 6 months because if there was a chance that we wanted to buy we wouldn't have to pay Realtor fees, and they could just sell by owner. Well it turns it we don't want to buy this house, it's not for us for many reasons. First it's way out of our price range, second I don't like the layout so much, 3rd Lot's of things have been bugging me about this house, 4th it's so far away from everything. I would totally buy out in the stansbury tooele area if they would put a tunnel through the mountain so I wouldn't have to drive around it to get to where I wanted to go. It's a huge pain in the butt. So this past weekend we decided we needed to make some appointments with a Realtor to go see some houses. We had about 20 houses, and Matt picked 9 to go and look at. Our Realtor got appointments for all 9 this past Monday. The first one was a huge disappointment way overpriced I think for the condition. the second one was beautiful!!! We loved everything about it, except for 2 rooms that needed paint that I would like. That's easy to fix. We decided to keep going to see what the other houses looked like. They were all so disappointing and so expensive. while we were out and about on our trek our Realtor talked to the Realtor of the house we did like to see if it was still on the market. Our Realtor Doug told us the house had been on the market for 11 days. He said the other realtor said that they had a busy weekend, and that they might have an offer that evening. Doug said that he didn't want to put pressure on us at all, but he didn't want us to come to him the next day and say yeah we want to put an offer down, and find out it was too late. So me feeling scared and nervous agreed with Matt to put an offer down. We finished all the paper work at about 6:30 or so. We heard back from Doug at 9:00 that evening and told us the people selling put down a counter offer which we agreed too. It turns out they didn't have anybody coming that night to put down an offer, they sucked us right in. We're Suckers. It's okay though because WE HAVE A HOUSE OF OUR OWN!!!! I'm so excited it's beautiful. My only regret is that it's not any closer to my Mom. We were trying to be about 10 minutes away, but it just wasn't possible. Everything was out of our price range. We will be about 20 min. which isn't bad at all. We will be closing March 25th or sooner. I hope all goes well and that we're approved. We should have no problem. I just keep praying that if it's right it will happen. Heavenly Father knows what is best for us and our situation. I'm so grateful that things are coming together. Our landlords are putting the house on the market this Monday. The sign should be out in the front yard this weekend. We are going to fix McKenzie's big no no this Saturday. I'm so grateful for my brother in law Justin. He is going to tack down our carpet, and help fix the drywall. Oh yeah we are still without a Microwave, it's been almost a month without having a microwave. I now know that I will never take having a microwave for granted again. It's amazing how much a person uses a microwave. I love how convenient they are! A little side note: My Mom was released from the Hospital on Valentines Day. She is in Georgia still at her sister's house. It turns out that My Mom might have a disease for the rest of her life. I can't remember what the name of the disease is called, but it's where your capillaries burst inside of you, which is why they found blood in her lungs. She can treat this with steroids, but can still have relapses. When she gets back to Utah she is going to see a specialist doc to get a second opinion. Good news though she found out today that she is able to be off oxygen for good, and that she is coming home this Tuesday! Hooray!!!
