Summer Lovin, had me a blast! 24th of July, Pioneer day......

We ended up spending Pioneer day with Matt's side of the family.  Our family, and Matt's Brother Josh and his family went over to his Sister's house.  Thanks Jason and Rachael again for opening up your home!  So we just made a day of it.  We had a Bar-B-Q.  Lot's and lot's of yummy food to eat!  I love Summer Bar-B-Q's!  It was a super hot day, so the kiddos swam, and ran through the sprinklers, and the adults played hand and foot inside and had good conversation.

We had maybe planned on going to see Sunset city fireworks that night, but we weren't in the mood.  We were so drained from the heat.  The men went and got some sparklers for the kiddos, and some huge campfire marshmellows to roast.  If you haven't seen them, these marshmellows are freaking huge!  They are like 3 or 4 big marshmellows combined.  1 is plenty they are so rich, you will go into sugar shock!  When the men came back they built a fire and we roasted marshmellows, had brownies, and ice cream, and lit sparklers.  The kids really enjoyed themselves, and it was fun to see them all have fun!

It was a wonderful day!  Thanks Jason and Rachael, and Josh and Brenda for spending it with us!
