It's hard to just name one, I have several places that I liked to go with my family when I was young. I remember going to the Roy movie theater. The Roy movie theater only cost $1 to get in and see a movie. I remember seeing The Goonies there. I can't remember how old I was when we went to see it, but I remember that I got scared, and I fell asleep during the movie. I remember seeing Roger Rabbit. Before the movie started they showed a cartoon called the family dog. It is hilarious, and my family always quotes lines from it. We saw The Rescuers Down Under as well. I remember that we had gone to Arctic Circle to get dinner, but we didn't have time to eat it at the restaurant. My Mom had us putting hamburgers and fries in our coat pockets, so we could eat dinner while watching the movie. Outside food wasn't allowed. My Mom was such a rule breaker! I guess she could have done worse things. We saw The Little Mermaid, and I think we saw Oliver and company there as well.
I remember loving to go to Granny's. It was a restaurant that had the best shakes. We also loved to go there to play their pinball machine. It was the Terminator pinball machine. I really sucked at it, but my Dad was awesome.
I loved going to Burger Bar. I always called it Big Ben's. Burger Bar is a restaurant. One that you have to park your car, and then walk up to the window and order. When you got your food, you ate it in the car. They had huge hamburgers called Big Ben's, the best fries and fry sauce, and huge ice cream cones. My parents always let us split a Big Ben meal because they were so big. I loved the ice cream cones the best!
I loved going to the Roy Complex to swim. It was fun goofing of with my family there! I loved going to Logan, and Providence to visit all of my Grandparents. I loved going to Bear Lake for family reunions. Going to Lagoon, and Downata Hot Springs. Camping. Fun times!
