A day of gifts for the Man of the house

Saturday we had a primary activity. We decorated ties for the Father's for Father's Day. It was a lot of fun!!! The kids had fun, and were very creative! Even though it was fun, I was grateful when the activity was over. This is the tie McKenzie, and Madisynn made for Matt:

I thought it turned out cute! We passed the ties out during sacrament meeting so all the Dad's and boys that were 18 and older could wear there ties. The relief society gave the Dad's a can of Dad's root beer with a quote on it. I can't remember what the quote said, it's long gone now! Anyways it was very sweet. So here is Matt sporting his loud tie, and his Dad's root beer:

Fun, Fun, Fun!

So to my sweetheart I gave him a dutch oven. He recently said he wanted to learn how to dutch oven cook. He was excited to receive it, and this coming Saturday he will get to try it out because our ward is doing a dutch oven cook off. It should be Lot's of fun. Here is Matt with his card and dutch oven:

It was a good Father's day. Again I'm so grateful for my husband, Dad, Father in law, brothers, Grandpas, to have them in my life.

Cute tie. Our ward did nothing. They weren't even aloud to speak on fathers. I thought that was interesting and even the Primary did nothing. --Tom was happy with his breakfast in bed. :)

Our ward did the same thing with the ties. The thing that made me laugh is that we gave Dale the same card MMMM stake. LOL
