LaGoOn FuN!!!

This past SaTuRdAy we went to LaGoOn. We hadn't really planned on going until AuGuSt, but we found out that Matt's SiStEr'S family, and his older BrOtHeR's family were going. It was AmErIcA FiRsT CrEdIt UnIoN's work party, and that is where MaTt'S Sister and her husband work. They had invited MaTt'S older brother JoSh and his family as guests. His brother JoSh and his FaMiLy came by on FrIdAy to visit with Us, and that's when we got the idea to go to LaGoOn earlier. It would be easier for us to go now instead of later. Besides we would be with FaMiLy, and We would get to RiDe the rides too! So SaTuRdAy we got to LaGoOn at 5:00 P.M. had trouble finding a PaRkInG space, but we found one. Got our TiCkEt'S with our MiLiTaRy discount, and headed on into the PaRk. We ate our yummy and quite delicious LuNcHaBlEs(sarcasm, sarcasm,.. =) ) Thanks to our Brother in law JaSoN, who brought us some delicious HaMbUrgErS and ChIpS to eat also from the work party. We were stuffed and ready to ride the rides.

So our FiRsT ride we went on was the FlYiNg AcEs. The KiDs loved it! It's amazing how things change in a year. McKeNzIe and MaDiSyNn last year were scared to death of most of the rides. Not this year though, Thank goodness! So here is a picture of Me and MaDdIe on the FlYiNg AcEs:

I tried to get a good picture of MaTt and McKeNzIe, but they were clear on the other side of us, and I couldn't get a good close up shot. Instead of the kids crying on the rides they cried when getting off the rides, because they wanted to ride again. The lines were quite long for just about every ride we went to. We spent forever in the line for the OdYsEa a cute Octopus, and fishy ride where you get wet. It was so fun riding with MadIsYnN on that one, we got really wet. MaDiSyNn kept on saying Whee, Whee, it was so cute! When the ride was done I asker her if she wanted to ride it again, and she said Noooo! So funny!
Here is a picture of PufF tHe MaGiC dRaGoN RiDe:

That is out brother in law JaSoN waving. That is MaTt'S sister RaChAeL in the green shirt, and our sister in law BrEnDa in the blue shirt and son DaYlIn.

After we went on PuFf we decided it was getting late, and there was one ride that all of us AdUlTs wanted to ride, and that was WiCkEd. MaTt and I went on it last year, and it was a blast. So the GiRlS were going to go first, so we left the KiDs with the MeN and hurried and went to get into the line for WiCkEd. When we got to the ride, there was no line. There was a ride attendant standing there with a sign saying temporarily closed. We were like are you kidding??? We wanted to know what was going on, and if it would open back up before closing time. The guy said CoMpUtEr malfunction, and probably no way of opening back up. We were BumMeD. Here is what WiCkEd looks like if you're wondering:

Riders will be launched to the top of the 110 ft. tower at speeds close to 41 mph. This element is especially unique as most roller coasters slowly lift riders to the top of the first hill, letting gravity do the rest. "WICKED" riders will instead be propelled by means of a linear synchronous motor (LSM) drive system, essentially rocketing riders up and over the top of the first hill. The 8-rider vehicles travel individually and achieve speeds up to 55 mph, passing though steep valleys, high banked turns, half-pipe, heart-roll inversion and more.

Now can you see why we were all so BuMmed? I'm just glad I already got to experience WiCkEd! So us girls decided to go on the next best thrill which would be the CoLoSsUs. It was a blast! Rollercoasters are the best! So while us GiRlS were having our ThRiLl the MeN had taken the kids on the kiddie BuMpEr CaRs, and the TrAiN ride, and then were waiting for us to get done with our second ride the SpIdEr also a thrilling ride. The GiRlS then took the KiDs so the MeN could go have there ThRiLl. They decided the line for the SpIdEr was way too long, so they went to ride the ClIfFhAnGeR, a ride that gets you wet. They rode it twice, and funny thing MaTt didn't even get wet at all, but JoSh and JaSoN got totally soaked. MaTt was lucky this year! So here are some pictures of the kids on the rides.

McKeNzIe and EmIlY on the LaDyBuG bOp:

This was one of the rides that McKenzie cryed on last year. This year she was able to ride it all by herself. That was so hard, but a good MiLeStOne! So these two CuTe girls could hardly wait to get on this ride. They absolutely had a BlAsT!!! Good job McKeNzIe and EmIlY!

Here is a video that I tried to get of these 2 CuTeSiE girls. I really tried, it's not the best, but here you go.

I promise to work on my video taping skills! Sorry if you got dizzy from all of the up and down movement!

I so wish that I could have been there to see these CuTe KiDs ride the BuMpEr CaRs! Here is a little video that Matt took:

Here is a pictue of McKeNzIe, EmIlY, ClArA, and MaDiSyNn. This was near the end of the night, and they are looking kind of tired!

Next up DaYliN, this cute little boy wouldn't smile for me:BrIaNnA she kept turning her head just as i would take her picture! This is the best I could do:We had a great time! We left the park around 11:30 and got home a little after midnight, and didn't get to bed until 1:00. We were so tired. We slept great, I just wasn't ready to get up to go to church. Matt hurt his back again. He was being a good Dad and wanted to hold his girls, and goof off with them while we were waiting in the lines. He had McKenzie on his shoulders, for part of the time. He had Madisynn for part of the time. I carried them a lot too. Matt said his back felt fine the entire time, and even right before we went to bed. It wasn't so good this morning though. He was hobbling with his back hunched over. He couldn't stand up straight without it absolutely killing his back. He couldn't stand the pain of walking on his feet so he started walking on his knees. It was aweful. He stayed home from church, so he could recuperate. I feel so bad because I snapped at him for hurting. I didn't mean to snap at him. I was just angry with myself for not bringing in our stroller, and for not telling matt to stop lifting the girls. How can you tell a Father that just wants to goof off with his kids to stop lifting them, and holding them. It's hard. =( So I went to church with the girls we barely made it for the Sacrament. After the sacrament meeting our home teacher came up to me and asked if he could come visit us today. I said sure, and then asked if he would give Matt a blessing. After church was over, and we got home Matt was asleep on the couch. I got the girls out of their church clothes, and changed myself and then went and woke him up to let him know that our home teachers would be coming and that they were going to give him a blessing. He was happy that I had asked. Matt still looked miserable when I woke him up. So our home teachers came and gave matt a blessing. It was a good blessing. I was happy they came! Matt started to feel better a little while after they left. He slept some more, well a lot more. He needed it! When he woke up he felt lot's better. I'm so thankful. I hate when he hurts his back, I start to worry about everything when that happens. I'm just greatful that he had a day to be able to recuperate before going back to work. He will be taking it easy, so he can continue to recuperate. You know he has been feeling great, which is why he was lifting the girls. He has been drinking this drink called Mona Vie. It has an anti inflamatory in it, and has this very important berry in it called the Acci berry. There are also I think 17 other types of fruit in this drink. It's really good for you, and has helped a lot of people with there pain, and sicknesses. I was really surprised when he woke up and he was hurting. I thought you were immune when drinking this. Nope Now we know for sure what he can and cannot do, especially with this drink. So he continueing to drink it.

We had such a great weekend. We just wish that Matt's parents and his little brother Jacob could have been here to go to Lagoon with us. We really missed them. We love you guys, and hopefully there will be another time! Oh yea we are going to go back to Lagoon on our bounce back pass in September, and probably make it a whole day. We'll see. This next time we WILL do things differently, like bringing our stroller in. No more back problems please.
